Yoga is a holistic discipline designed to unite the body and mind through asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques). The physical postures build flexibility, balance, and strength, while mindful breathing enhances lung capacity and supports a calm, balanced nervous system.
The style of Yoga I practice and teach is deeply inspired by Yoga Flow — a dynamic and physical form of yoga — yet each session always concludes with a few minutes of breathing exercises and deep relaxation.
Set to gentle music, we begin each session with a warm-up, often through Sun Salutations, before moving fluidly through the postures in sync with the rhythm of the breath. Through these dynamic movements and stretches, the body becomes stronger, more supple, and more aware.
Regular yoga practice helps balance and harmonize the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions of the self.
